“Well it's difficult to compliment any place that issues punishment, and while I was there for a speeding ticket and everyone did their part by the book but there must of been an ongoing change either via administrative or migration to digital, because after I paid the required fees that court still showed a delinquency while the state of Texas showed paid.. i got pulled over somewhere else in Texas because they thought I owed money so after they ran my tags through a different system I came up clear, they had to call their supervisors to figure out what to do, they said the hell with this and just let me go and I said good luck they laughed and shook their heads. 3 stars for freaking me out”

“This court system is a joke! I received a speeding ticket from Tom Green County, Justice Of The Peace Precinct: 2 that I attempted to fight in court. They said they mailed me a letter for the court date, but I never received it. Then I get a letter from a collection agency stating how much I owed. I verified with the collection agency AND the court that if I paid this amount I was DONE with this issue! I even verified after I made the payment that they had received it and showed no balance! 7 months later here comes another statement in the mail for more than the original amount and telling me if I don't pay it that my license will be suspended! If it wasn't the long arm of the law doing this I'm pretty sure this would be illegal! The first time I spoke with the courts they were very polite and professional..... This time, not so much! They told me they were switching systems and that's how THEY made the mistake, but I will pay it or I will pay the consequences. Beware when dealing with this court system that they are the actual crooks who should be drug into court! DO NOT pay anything through a bill collection agency with them because they said they do not have to honor their statements even though they hired them to resolve this matter! You'd think they would know in a legal matter that they need to dot their i's and cross their t's, but I guess if you're the state you get to play by your own set of rules and hide behind a receptionist!”
