“This was the worst experience I've ever had. It was my first time ever needing a lawyer, my job service recommended Kate. My first phone call with Kate was great. She seemed very knowledgeable and gave me many examples of what we could do for my case, I signed up with her and paid my retainer fee. Everything went down hill from there. I had to deal with Two paralegals which both were fired. The first one was great I have no clue why she was let go. The second one was my worst nightmare she told me nothing but lies. Had me thinking my case was being taken care of only to find out she never told Kate about any of the phone conversations we had. She lied about taking care of a parenting plan for my son. Once she was removed from the law firm, Kate's firm then moved under a larger firm out of Colorado. Here is where it got very messy their Financial department called me every day saying I owed money. I was completely confused cause I still had my full retainer fee, as nothing had taken place with my case. After this her very unorganized secretary sends me all these charges from 8 months ago stating the retainer fee was depleted, which in the contract It states I am given a 30 Days heads up (I believe) when I need to add money and when charges are taken out (I never had any notice) and I never knew I was Being charged for certain inquiries. Long story short I am still being billed years later with no custody order, no child support nothing to show for the almost $3,500 that's I've already paid. In addition to everything Kate told me on the first call she was now saying couldn't Happen . I haven't spoken to anyone in over a year and still receive bills that have no explanation on them. I do not recommend or maybe my case just wasn't important enough to give quality service too.”

“I have recently started services with Kate Smith, PLLC and was very refreshed with the plethora of Ideas and concerns that Kate brought to the table ( I know that is her expertise ). However, on an initial prepaid office visit she exceeded the allotted time by almost an hour to make sure I understood what things I needed to do and would encounter with the plaintiff's representation. I enjoyed our meeting and we shared many interesting stories that related to the divorcee experience. Family matter are at the top of my priority list and she had specific recommendations that well help our family heal. Just starting the tumultuous journey and already feel that a smoother path has been provided. Hope to provide updates soon.”

“Hi Y'all! If my daughter did not have a lawyer of the caliber of Kate Smith Law & her entire Team working smart and hard, even though everything was pre-agreed, signed with the other party, the judge approved the divorce to take place within the Injunction agreement, Satan and Evil in 2 persons (the divorcee with his lawyer)together, they are constantly looking for ways to harass, intimidate us, sending Sheriff and Constable to disrespecting the judge from another county decisions. So if not them, amount of work and funds spend, by now we would be on the street and without a roof over our heads. Thanks for everything Kate you're doing for us! I know my sweet and godly daughter and I, we are protected and in good hands and have fair process. God is good at all times! I pray, please keep protecting & fighting for us till absolute victory !
