“I willingly agreed to write a review for Corey Mills. I was having financial difficulties and facing lawsuits until I found Mr. Mills. We sat and talked about my options. He explained if I indeed need to file bankruptcy or not. Once we agreed on my options, Mr. Mills proceed to explain the whole process. He took his time and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed and when I left, this huge boulder was lifted off my shoulders. I do recommend Corey Mills for your bankruptcy needs as he is experienced and knowledgeable.”

“Nothing about the process of bankruptcy is easy. Corey goes ABOVE and beyond to make the process as easy on his clients as possible. The anxiety and stress involved in such a case is nothing you can plan and prepare for, but having an attorney who understands what you need, when you need it, and explains the why is monumental in easing the stress. Anyone filing bankruptcy knows that there is a certain level of shame and guilt involved. You also know that the circumstances that lead you there are not always within your control. It is a great personal hit to your pride. Corey does an outstanding job providing empathy for you along with understanding. The avenue of bankruptcy is there for a reason, and he helps take the guilt you feel away. I would recommend that anyone filing bankruptcy work with Corey. “I cannot say enough positive things about Corey! When it appeared Chapter 13 was on the horizon, we met with several attorneys prior to finding Corey. After each consultation, we left dejected and scared to death. Finally, I asked for a referral from a coworker and her attorney husband highly recommended Corey. From the very first minute we met with him, we were put at ease. He was so laid back, yet extremely confident that this was not going to ruin our lives forever! My husband and I left feeling so much relief! Our case was not as straightforward as some, and we ended up having to go before the judge on a couple of occasions to prove we were acting in good faith. During those courts occasions, we had a chance to see other bankruptcy attorneys work and speak before the judge. Without a doubt, Corey was the most articulate, professional and well respected attorney the judge heard those days! Rather than rule right away, the judge requested that Corey provided some case law to support our trustee appeal. This could have consisted of Corey sending the judge a couple of cases to read. Instead, Corey spent THREE WEEKS working on a detailed memorandum to support our argument. This is NOT the norm for a big bankruptcy firm where you are just another case. Corey was truly an advocate for us and we won the appeal. Not only that, but the judge was so impressed by the case Corey put forth that he issued a 26 page judgement (we are told this is very rare). Throughout this stressful experience, Corey never got ruffled and he never let us worry. We truly believe that Corey was a special blessing to us during a really hard time in our lives.”

“Our financial problems started 5 years ago when I was admitted to the hospital for what would turn out to be a 4 month timeframe. Because I was unable to work and draw my salary, we were unable to meet our financial obligations, especially when the more than $300,000 we were being billed for unpaid medical bills (even with insurance). We were referred to Corey by our son's baseball coach, and from the moment we met him, we were put at ease. We didn't know what to expect, didn't know if we could keep our cars, our home or if we would ever get back to "normal". Corey was professional and calm when we were before the judge/trustee and assured us we had nothing to fear. Our case was accepted and we recently completed the 5 year plan. Corey had to help us with an issue with our car, and even though he had to put extra time and effort into our case, he never complained, nor did he drag his feet. He was efficient, kind and most of all, non-judgemental. He assured us that good people file bankruptcy all the time, and that we would come out better on the other side. Well we did, and we owe all of it to Corey Mills. I can't imagine anyone going to anyone else for their bankruptcy needs.”
