“Worst ever, not board certified not on your side at all. Seek a professional that's gonna work for you not pay to be in a high rise office to only let you get the book thrown at you. 7 different lawyers on a dwi case and a year later oh you gonna get probation and Yada Yada I highly recommend looking for a professional that cares. Oh they never called the whole year to keep Michael posted no updates nothing.”

“If you need a smart, friendly, professional, and approachable lawyer, C. Matthew Shanks is it. Whenever I had a question, he'd get back to me promptly. He kept me updated on my case proceedings. His receptionist, Megan, was always friendly and answered my calls promptly. I don't think any of my calls ever went to voicemail. Payment plan options made it so easy and affordable too and at the end of my case (which was the outcome I wanted) I received money BACK so he is honest too! Highly recommend!!”

“Matt Shanks is a great attorney! He represented me on a criminal case in 2016-2017 and was able to work out an excellent deal that involved very little jail time and a reduction in my charges from state jail felony level down to a misdemeanor. The prosecutor in my case was intent on sending me to prison for six (6) months with a felony conviction but thanks to the effort and hard work of Matt Shanks I served only 37 days in the Williamson County Jail (country club/spa) + no felony on my record! Matt Shanks is a lawyer that won't hesitate to spend the extra time necessary to negotiate a very fair deal for his clients and I can only thank him, once again, for the great job he did.
