“I have been helping a friend who needs an attorney. Every time she or I call the Jacksonville Bar Association, we get this curt recording: "We are out of the office for a member function and cannot take your call at this time. Please call back." No option to leave a message or when everyone will return to the office. This is UNACCEPTABLE!”

“Due to what I dub "A Series of Unfortunate Events;" I have very expensive health care insurancedueo was forced to learn how to navigate help systems... This year; I believe Elder Source reached out with a form from the Bar Assoc.... The form gave choices to recipients of donations by bar association members...I BELIEVE I HANDED THE FORM IN JUSTA FEW DAYS PRIOR TO AN UNEXPECTED KNOCK ON THE DOOR ... CAPSLOCK MEDICAL ONLY ... "OUT OF THE BLUE" THE WEEK BEFORE THANKSGIVING... A KNOCK DID UNEXPECTEDLY COME TO THE DOOR ... MR. ARTHUR FERNANDEZ APPEARED BEARING GIFTS OF EXCELLENT QUALITY ... ACTUALLY; THE GIFTS ARE THE HIGHEST QUALITY MERCHANDISE/GIFTS I HAVE EVER RECEIVED PERIOD LET ALONE FROM A TOTAL STRANGER... IN FACT; WHILST I WAS TRYING ON MY NEW DREAM FORM HOUSE SLIPPERS OOHING AND AWWING... MY NEIGHBOR SAID, "I WANT WHAT SHE'S HAVING..." “We recently paid $50 to obtain a recommended lawyers but the firm reached to us doesn't even handle consumer case and never responded to the docs we sent to them. This organization is absolutely useless!”

“Don't bother with these people unless you want to be spoken down to and then left hanging for weeks on end. I was referred to them by the attorney general, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately both Tony and Lydia are useless. Tony was extremely rude both times I talked to him, clearly aggravated that he was expected to perform some of the duties he gets paid to do.. imagine that. He told me straight out that I should just use google instead of them. Spoke to Lydia a few times who kept saying she would get back to me and never did. We were told a referral would take about 5 days, that was 3 weeks ago. Guess it's time to call the attorney general back and let them know they should refrain from recommending people to the Jacksonville bar association.”

“Horrible experience right off the bat. Tony answered the phone and was very rude to me the entire time. He is sarcastic and deliberately mocked me as I asked questions. As someone who is "new" to having to obtain a lawyer (and he knew that) Tony could not be any less empathetic towards me. He should not be working or talking with clients. I have been in contact with him for two days and each time I felt like he absolutely hated me..or maybe he hates his job. Either way, very poor customer service. I will never recommend Jacksonville Bar Association to anyone. Go elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect.”

“Went in or general Info and possible help. The guy was very rude to me. Extremely rude. I left. The sad part is. I asked If they had a referral list. He stated anything we do you have to first pay $50 that will come with a FREE consultation. FREE consultation. If O give you my $50 it won't be free. ”

“I can see why there are so few reviews and why the bad ones are accurate. I don't know how they treat the people that are willing to pay $50 for a referral but they definitely don't have the time or interest for someone that isn't looking for a specific attorney to be referred to.”

“Called 2 weeks ago. The lawyer kept talking down to me, repeating the same sentence real slow like to a child. Then when I call for my money back, I'm told I was given a referral but no one bothered to call me.”
