“I had a great experience at the Bell County Clerk's Office. This is where my wife and I went to get our marriage certificate, and honestly, the whole process was much smoother than I expected. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They guided us through the paperwork clearly, answered our questions patiently, and made sure everything was filled out correctly. What really impressed me was how efficiently they handled everything--our documents were processed quickly, and we received the final certificate right away without any unnecessary waiting. The office itself was well-organized, and the system they use keeps things moving smoothly. For something that's usually considered stressful or tedious, they made the experience easy and pleasant. Big thanks to the team there for making an important day even better!”

“Went to get court documents from a misdemeanor charge from 38 years ago. The lady who helped me named Gloria was fantastic! Gloria went out of her way to find my court documents. They were stored on microfilm and Gloria found them in minutes and printed them out for me. Gloria was professional, polite and pleasant to work with and a very beautiful lady to top it all off! Gloria is a huge asset to Bell County District Clerks Office! Thank you for your help today Gloria and have a blessed weekend!”

“If I could give no stars, that's exactly what I would do. The main person in the clerks office when requesting docs like court orders, or any other form of documentation from there its just completely rude. I got transferred to speak to a MARY, she's disrespectful, rude, and sounds like she hates her job. She is absolutely no help what so ever, and I could not agree more with the reviews on this site. Just expect to get no help from here when it comes to this department when requesting information. I previously spoke to a young lady and she was just as rude, then Mary just tops the cake. The reviews and the 2.7 star rating explains them so well.”

“Called to inquire the information for Austin to be able to send forms to have my sons last name changed, and the first representative I spoke with was very unhelpful stating they don't have any paperwork in the office, nor can they send out any paperwork and referred me to go to the website, which wasn't what I was inquiring about. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she disconnected the call. Called back and spoke with Emily she stated the same thing which I told her the website doesn't give the information where to send information to Austin, I asked to speak with a supervisor yet again, I was put on hold for not even a minute and she stated all the supervisors were busy and transferred me to a different department. Spoke with a women named Melissa she was very helpful even though it wasn't her department, she tried to help the best she could and I really appreciated it.”

“Called and followed prompts to the right department however Mary the clerk who answered the phone claims she can't give out any information whatsoever, or direct me on how to file a simple amendment. Says I have to pay a lawyer to answer me what paperwork to file or google it. Why have a phone line when you won't answer anything or direct anyone on what to file with your office. Even at the dmv they'll tell you what paper you have to fill out. Shocking to say the least.”

“The website states the County Clerks office is open until 5pm. I arrived at 4:36pm and they would not accommodate my desperate need for a copy of my husbands death certificate.”
