“Mr. Rice goes above and beyond the call of duty while taking care of his clients. I had consulted Mr. Rice regarding a special needs fund in 2012. He was extremely informative and direct in every conversation. He also took immediate action as well as letting me know the avenues best suited for use. I cannot express enough how much of a difference his help and advice affected my family at the time. Thank you Mister Rice. I am forever grateful.”

“William J Rice Jr. office address 2040 North Loop West Houston Texas /Bar card number 16842300. On Monday 10/2/23 I spoke with William Rice on the phone in reference to a criminal case, that required representation. He sent contracts by email that I couldn't access. Not to mention, he instructed me to have my husband to call him. The next day 10/3/2023, I emailed William to inform him that we were not able to open /view contract. On Thursday 10/5/2023, William and my husband talked on the phone. After the conversation ended, immediately William calls me aggressively and stated that he needed half down to even start on the case. Within minutes, William receives $2500 from me through Zelle to be hired for the criminal case. Once William received the money, the contract was email to us for review. As I begin to review the contract and do research. I found out he was not a criminal lawyer. I verbally asked (on the phone) to William was he a criminal lawyer and he verbally said yes. I then ask him to Zelle the $2500 back to me. On October 6,2023 he sent $2000 through Zelle . I asked William about the remainder balance of $500. He stated "I'm charging for the phone conversations and rudely hung up the telephone. At the very beginning of the phone interview. William never mentions a fee for telephone interviews. No signatures were sign on contract and no service were render on the criminal case. William and my husband spoke once for 5 minutes on the phone. On today 10/11/2023 I spoke with William. I ask for an itemized statement and he refused to provide one. I trusted William. However, he has scam me for $500. He's unprofessional, disrespectful, impolite and a mean person that I hated I encounter.”
