“Dear Social Media. I would like tell a you story and you be the judge. Shena Davenport is a realtor and a part-time care giver. A year ago her brother reported her to the Adult Protective Services for financial elder abuse. The gentleman in question is now 98 years old. About a week ago she was informed that she was still being investigated by the Travis County District Attorney Office. That day or the day after she went to see Tim Cowart a criminal defense attorney in Llano County. She wrote the check out of the bank account from the elderly gentleman she is being investigated for. The elderly gentleman signed the check under misleading information. The attorney took the check and cashed it immediately. The family tried to put a stop payment but it was to late. The questions are... 1. What do the actions say about the character and moral compass of the lawyer? 2. Do you think the lawyer violated any ethics? 3.
