“The Law Office of Susan Edmonson were very helpful to me with having a will drawn up and also helping obtain property after my husband's death. She also helped family members. She was referred to me by a close family member. I highly recommend this office for their friendly and professional manner.”

“Update Regarding Guardianship Case of a Special Needs Individual After speaking with the other party in the case, I learned the following: He was told by Ms. Edmonson that documents could be notarized in the office without his presence, which I believe is illegal. He was also told Ms. Edmonson would contact me and follow up with him, which never happened for 6-7 weeks. Ms. Edmonson previously informed me that the other party would reach out to me directly, which he confirmed he never agreed to. A court-appointed official also informed me that, because my child has special needs, Ms. Edmonson should have disclosed that this service could have been free through the state. She failed to do so. Despite these issues, I am still receiving messages from Ms. Edmonson requesting payment. Everything I stated in my review is factual and can be corroborated by documented communication and witnesses. I will not be removing it”

“DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM. I hired Ms. Edmonson to handle a timely and stressful property matter after my mom passed away. Ms. Edmonson charged me more than quoted for her retainer and never took a single action on my case. She stopped replying to my emails and her office stopped answering my calls. I had to open a case with my bank to do a charge back so I could afford to hire a new lawyer and was unfortunately only able to get a partial return. I take some responsibly because I may have been too trusting. I've heard about greedy lawyers but couldn't fathom someone taking advantage of me given the nature of my case..I was trying to sort my late mothers estate. I was so deeply hurt by this offices behavior and this all only added to the grief my family and I were already experiencing. Though it looks like there are many more positive reviews than negative, keep in mind that there are many of us who've had the same experience with her. It's not worth the risk. I was able to find an amazing and professional lawyer who handled my case incredibly well. I urge you to find someone else to take care of you. --------- Following up since the office responded. You are blatantly lying. There wasn't a single communication in the portal. I checked once she went silent to see if maybe that was way but, no. All communications and documents were shared over email. Ms. Edmonson responded there consistently and swiftly until she received my payment and stopped communicating with me. I provided proof of your negligence to my bank which is how i was able to receive a charge back. It was proof enough for them. You charged me $1000 more than you quoted for the retainer. Please if you are considering working with this office, pay attention to the negatives reviews. Look at the reviews on other platforms. They are consistent and frequent.”

“This law firm has been nothing short of a nightmare. After paying my retainer, I was blindsided by the fact that I had to pay an additional retainer for a different lawyer--something they conveniently failed to mention until it was too late. They had the audacity to charge me $150.00 for a single phone call, which is an outrageous scam. The level of incompetence is astounding. They were completely unaware of a scheduled hearing, and the customer service is a disgrace. Michelle, in particular, is incredibly rude, condescending, and downright nasty. She even went so far as to threaten to call the cops on me, which is beyond unprofessional. Susan, on the other hand, neglected to inform me that our hearing had been moved, leaving me completely in the dark. I've been trying to finalize a divorce for nearly four years, and this firm has done absolutely nothing. Not a single document has been filed on our behalf, and they refuse to release any of the documentation. To top it all off, they won't even let me speak to my lawyer. It's clear they have no interest in actually helping their clients--only in milking them for every penny. This firm is a complete disaster. They are incompetent, dishonest, and utterly unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. I wish I had never hired them.”

“I would not recommend this law office. They didn't take care of my legal needs , withheld legal documents, then screwed me over by filing a nonsuit dismissal that I strongly refused against. Then over charged me for condemning my case. There's a reason she has to have a safety locked door. They also double bill you, I was charged for her assistant to type up a document, then charged to pay her to review it and charged again for the assistant to correct her mistakes. These were just 2 paragraph with no real details, there went $400 for maybe an hours work.”

“We needed our legal documents reviewed and a new deed done. We are very pleased with Susan Edmonson. She told us our trust docs were well done and then she prepared a new deed for our home and had it recorded in a very timely manner.”

“Would give ZERO stars if possible. They took an entire year to complete an uncontested divorce. No one was ever in charge of my case. Nothing was ever done unless I reached out for updates and pushed them which in return would financially cost me as they charged for "returned calls, email or message replies, or revisions" (which they screwed up themselves to begin with) etc. I was also given an attitude for asking about my case not being worked on for months. I mentioned multiple times that due to other legal matters, the case needed to be done as soon as possible as I would be at risk of possibly losing my employment and they completely ignored that. Although I mentioned to them many times that I understood I wasn't the only client, (I was given that as an answer once....) If I'm paying you for services, I think it's only fair to be given updates and be allowed to ask questions without being charged or given an attitude for asking. When I finally snapped after many months of being given the run around about where my case stood (unanswered emails, calls and messages through their portal that were only answered when sent to everyone in the office), the paralegal named Michelle had the audacity to respond with: "why would I waste my time giving you updates on your case when I could use that time to actually work on it" I was livid! She was always clueless about my case, I had to repeatedly remind her of what I wanted and give information that they already had on file from the initial consultation which was frustrating. I came to find out the divorce had been finalized for over a month and no one had even bothered to reach out to let me know. My ex-husband's lawyer sent him his certified copy of the decree almost immediately after finalization and I ended up using his copy to take care of the legal matters I had pending. This office was recommended to me by family. It was also on my list of preferred legal service providers offered through my employer. They have both been informed of their terrible service. Please read reviews before considering using them. If you don't mind waiting for months, never receiving information/updates and being charged for every little thing, this might be the lawyer's office for you.”

“Worst experience! My grandfather passed away unexpectedly in June 2023. My mom & us as a family has hired Susan to go to court and fight for possession of my grandfathers assets due to him having no will. This woman hardly ever responds, and when she does we get charged a butt load just to be in communication with the lady WE HIRED, even if it's just a simple yes or no answer. After paying a 3,000 fee for it to be blown through and hundreds of it being charged for email/phone communication between lawyer and client. Anytime we have called we can't even speak to the lady we hired personally. Getting charged for things we already had or knew but decided to do it herself. Would never recommended to anyone, just a money hungry firm. Still have NOT went to court and it's pushing a year in a few months since the start of this process.”
