“if I could rate 0 stars I would this man was supposed to defend my best friend in a family case that she had already settled years ago. now the father reopened the case and gained custody of her child that has been with her mother most of her life. he refused to submit information sent to him. he also would not respond when he was called or texted. my friend's little girl wanted to speak her piece to the judge that she does not feel safe w her father and he did nothing to help her. instead just sat in court seemingly with no knowledge of the case and a very nonchalant attitude. idk where we go from here but thanks for nothing fransico alvarez.”

“I am not sure how he has 3 ppl that gave him a decent rating on here. Francisco Alvarez has not assisted my client at all in preparation for sentencing. I am a consultant that works with individuals that are facing possible prison time. I feel that Francisco Alvarez has little to no knowledge or maybe he just does not care to put in the time & effort required to help create the best possible outcome. My client is facing federal prison. This attorney refused to file objections that his client requested regarding inaccurate information in the PSR. Francisco Alvarez also told his client that the judge is not interested in reading character reference letters or the personal narrative. We called the judges chamber to ask if this was true and of course the the judges chambers stated they encourage letters from family to be submitted prior to sentencing. Francisco Alvarez flat out lied through a text to my client sating the judge does not accept letters. The client asked about his sentencing memorandum which should be prepared by the defense attorney to only hav the attorney respond with "What is a sentencing memorandum?" If you are in need of any type of criminal defense I would stay clear of Francisco Alvarez. You will be left defending yourself basically.”
