“The first thing to know about Iowa law firms and Iowa lawyers: The word is, retainer. In fact, there needs to be a state law, requiring all lawyers and law firms to clearly list out all of the individuals and businesses that have retained their services. A vast number of lawyers and law firms, in the state of Iowa, are already bought and paid for assets by corporations, hospitals, and most certainly by insurance companies. It is very difficult to discern between who is and who is not. But I can definitely tell you from my own personal standpoint that every law firm that I went to with extremely prima facie inculpatory evidence; ERGO, a high level of preponderance of evidence, that would guarantee a courtroom win, not one, not one lawyer or law firm would take my family's case. None of them, none of them would even look at the evidence. Even after I did 100% of all the legwork. To include submitting for and already obtaining EEOC and ICRC letters granting the right to sue.”

“Tried looking up a NOLO attorney for a friend, ( i think that's what they refer to a free attorney ), anyway had no luck at all. It had me going or moving from sight to sight not one lawyer stepped up. Should of known. Nobody and I mean nobody in this town does anything for free anymore. Especially a young overpaid yuppie attorney. How silly of me.”
