“We went to Mr. Dayton, on two occasions, for consultations regarding an encroachment issue on our property. He was calm and straightforward. His advice to us was frank and to the point. It was not necessarily what we wanted to hear. But, in fact, it was exactly what we wanted to hear. The last thing we wanted was to be led down the primrose path with wishful thinking (that could have been very costly). He offered very good advice, regarding things we could do ourselves to try and reconcile the issue (costing himself business in the process). We pursued his advice vigorously. We do not give repeat business to people we do not have confidence in. Mr. Dayton stays, definitively, on our list of preferred professionals.”

“Unfortunately, I was in a situation that I needed a lawyer for advice for my small business. I was intimidated even needing a lawyer. Making an appointment was easy, Scott offered zoom and in person consultations and an appointment in less than a few days. The receptionist was nice, the offices were clean. Scott was extremely helpful, I even called him over the phone to follow up after our meeting with a few questions. He called me back within the hour! Excellent help, great advice.
