1.0“This has been the most disappointing experience I've ever had with a lawyer referral service. The attorneys they connect you with show little to no professionalism--if they return your call at all, it's only to collect your information, and then you never hear from them again. The one lawyer I actually managed to speak with admitted they don't even practice in several of the areas advertised on their own website. The entire process was a frustrating waste of time and gave the impression that the service prioritizes quantity over quality when it comes to their referrals.”
1.0“I called the Nevada State Bar Lawyer Referral Service Program to receive a list of attorneys to assist with Probate Administration (or as Clark County refers to it "PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION"). I was informed that I MUST hire a Nevada Attorney because I live out of state, no matter that I have years of experience in Probate handling probate cases and Civil Cases that may arise from issues within the Probate process. So, I call the Nevada State Bar Association Lawyer Referral Program to request a LIST of attorneys that I could call and vet. Instead, the representative told me that 1.) I would receive only ONE attorney at a time to vet and 2.) That attorney may charge a $45 fee to advise for 30 minutes. For sure I knew I was dealing with Sin City after this representative told me some BS like that. First, if the Nevada Bar Association is PICKING just ONE Attorney FOR YOU, what criteria are they using to pick the attorney? It is inherently unethical to STEER the general public to a particular attorney possibly at the expense of other qualified attorneys. Secondly, If I am vetting an attorney, why would I pay $45 to find out that the Nevada State Bar's pick of an attorney IS NOT A GOOD FIT for me or my case? What kind of complete, ridiculous foolishness is this?!? I would stand a better chance of querying the internet and finding my own attorney then using the Nevada State Bar site to check their credentials and disciplinary history for myself...which I will do. The Nevada State Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service Program is unethical and needs to be shut down. However, only the people of the State of Nevada can demand it be shut down and it looks like that ain't happening due to them being blinded by the bright lights and slot machines of Sin City as it's base. I'm so glad I do not live in Nevada...way more corruption and rackets being run here than any other place in the U.S. #ShameOnNevadaStateBar”
1.0“Horrible and I can see why you got two stars and I dont think you even read what I wrote in my complaint”
1.0“The NV state bar needs to be sued with a 1983 civil rights act over not providing legal defense to plantiffs or defendants I am working on a petition because most lawyers on the state bar discriminate people over seeking help and regardless of any case matters and forward to NV state bar... lawyers are not to discriminate or to deny help rather send proper help without the use of the nevada state bar...also all these google review records of people not receiving proper help is due to negligence of the NV state bar and the NV state bar does not allow freedom of speech for lawyers or paralegals to properly address legal matter issues or referral out...”
1.0“I needed some support regarding an incident that transpired over a month ago. With attention to timeliness, I called them right away and left countless emails; and since have been reaching out -- amounting to no avail. This is quite perpetual of the state's standing... I thought the premise was "to be for the people." No?”
1.0“They did not return my calls multiple times, and when I did finally reach someone, I was told they don't refer for cases in northern Nevada or civil rights cases. Certainly seems unethical to avoid helping someone in a different part of the state when it is a "state bar" organization.”
1.0“I begged them for help when I got cheated by unethical, crooked lawyer. They wanted nothing to do with me or the case. Although their website stated they handle the type of complaints I filed with them. I sent over fifty pages of evidence just to be ignored and lied to when I reached out numerous times. Absolutely worthless organization.”
3.0“Ripped off by breaking bad drugged out attorneys - (attorney admitted in court he used meth). did get money from their "security fund" helped out but took a longtime. They though I should be grateful for receiving 1/2 of what I was owed 9 years latter. Lots of money cases before Bar and they won' change anything to protect people. The trust accounts attorneys have are not safe. Clients see their money taken. Attorney said " because she was using client's fund to pay her mortgage - it benefited her clients because she had a home office. Why not drug test attorneys and judges? The people that clean the courthouse have drug tests- why not the attorneys?? Judges?? Meth-Mouthpieces??”
