“I recently reached out to Joseph Spencer for legal guidance, and I was genuinely shocked by how rude and unprofessional he was. From the very beginning, he came across as dismissive, impatient, and completely uninterested in answering my questions. Rather than offering support or clarity, his tone was condescending and his responses felt more like an inconvenience than a service. What's most disappointing is that I had considered hiring him, but his behavior quickly made it clear that would've been a mistake. A client--or even a prospective one--should never feel belittled or disregarded when seeking legal help. Based on my experience, I cannot in good faith recommend Joseph Spencer to anyone looking for legal representation. If you're seeking someone who will listen respectfully, communicate professionally, and take your concerns seriously, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Anyone reaching out to this lawyer should be prepared for a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience. My interaction with Joseph Spencer was, without question, one of the most negative professional encounters I've ever had. From the very beginning, his attitude was dismissive, curt, and condescending--making it clear that he had little interest in addressing my concerns or offering any meaningful assistance. Instead of providing guidance or even basic courtesy, his tone was rude and unapproachable. I was left genuinely confused as to how someone with such poor communication and interpersonal skills is in a client-facing role, let alone receiving positive reviews. Frankly, it's baffling. Based on my experience, those glowing testimonials seem completely disconnected from the reality of how he treats people. If you're looking for an attorney who will treat you with respect, listen to your concerns, and take your situation seriously, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Joseph Spencer left me with nothing but regret for even considering his services.”

“I was recommended by another attorney because Mr. Joe Spencer is the best. Well I beg to differ with that statement. I was told that I needed to give a $5,000 retainer, paid the 5K, but then I was told later that I needed to give another $20,000, I was overwhelmed with how much I had to pay out. I managed to pay another $5,000, but that was not enough even after we agreed to do a payment plan, but unfortunately without a job and not being able to acquire a loan for the rest of the payment. I tried to get a breakdown of services since I did pay him more than enough to help me with my case, only thing I received from his office was a letter with the Post arrest attorney fees for $25,000, a check that I had given him for $5k and a cash amount of $5K with a total due of $15,000. Also, 3% charge per transaction if I use a credit card. We live in El Paso, Texas and not in Dallas, Houston or San Antonio Texas where people can afford an attorney of that caliber. I wrote a letter to his firm in more detail and hoping that I don't have to take this matter to a higher power!”
