“WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I felt dismissed and unsupported at a time when I genuinely needed strong legal representation. Instead of fighting for me or digging deeper into the facts of my case, Smotherman Law Firm chose to stop treatments midway and walk away based solely on the initial police report without listening to my side or considering the full context. Accidents aren't always black and white, and mistakes can be made in police reports (I've personally experienced that before, and it was correctly amended). I expected a law firm to understand that and advocate for me--not give up at the first sign of complexity. The communication throughout was disappointing. Alexis is excellent at what she does she gets you in the door and speaks in a way that's uplifting and reassuring in the beginning. But once I found, paid for, and submitted the police report, her communication completely stopped. That shift alone told me everything I needed to know about how this firm handles clients once they're "in." Francisca, on the other hand, seemed genuinely willing to get to the bottom of what was going on. Unfortunately, by then, the decision had been made. If you're looking for a law firm that will fight for you when things get complicated and treat you with consistent care and communication I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Being dropped when you're most vulnerable says everything about the kind of support you can expect from this firm.”

“ WARNING: Fraud & unethical behavior -- avoid this law firm at all costs A close friend of mine was completely taken advantage of by this law firm. They forged his signature and finalized a settlement without his consent. He was supposed to receive $35,000 due to high medical costs, but was only given $9,000 -- and then they went silent. Darel was the one who finalized the settlement without permission, then hung up on him and now keeps claiming to be "out of office" whenever my friend tries to get answers. This isn't just negligence -- it's fraud, forgery, and legal malpractice. He's in the process of reporting this firm to the State Bar and pursuing legal action. If you value honesty and integrity, do not trust this firm with your case.”
