“Terrible attitude from Carol mccowen(who is apparently the chief deputy clerk). Called to question a ticket and go over the statue I violated and the response I got was very unprofessional. Are we not allowed to question how the statue is read? Carol did apologize after she realized she was being very condescending. Pleasant experience with Krysta though.”

“The level of professionalism from the Clerk CAROL at Precinct 2 in Snyder, TX was extremely disappointing. My son and I arrived for his rescheduled court date, and when he explained the situation, the clerk accused him of lying. We even showed receipts proving she had spoken to him, yet she denied it and refused to listen to our explanation about the incorrect address. I filed a complaint with the judge. While the judge had her apologize, it was brushed off with jokes in court. Afterward, she even mentioned she's known for being rude, which is why she doesn't work front-of-office. The only positive was Krista, another staff member, who was kind, and I thanked her. Still, the disrespect we faced was unacceptable. I explained to my son afterward that Snyder is a small town, and unfortunately, it seems like behavior like that is accepted. But that was a representation of Snyder, TX. Positions like this demand respect, accountability, and effective public service, none of which were demonstrated by her.”
