“I'll share MY experience...I came to the Pelley office back in May of 2023. All I needed was a modification to a custody agreement. I paid $3,500. I was reassured several times, that as long as the ex doesn't fight back - I should be good. We went to court once. One time. And my ex never even showed up. Chip did file paperwork (obviously), but there was no debating, no mediation. Nothing. I was told to email everything over. So I did. Fast forward 2 years later, the courts were about to close out the temp order. I called his office to ask if we could at least finalize it. (because if the court drops it - their is no order in place) And I'm being told that I have an outstanding balance of over $1,000 AND he want's $4,500 MORE to represent me. 2 years and never heard about a balance. I was told on two separate occasions that this happened to someone who used this office. So basically, I paid $3,500 for him to do a revised order that wasn't even fought against. I have receipts, emails, and records of phone calls. I know there's going to be a rebuttal - and you can believe whatever he replies to this with - we all know attorneys are honest individuals, right?”

“Do not trust this guy. I gave him $7000 to start my case. I did all the legwork and brought him mountains of evidence. He showed up to our first hearing completely unprepared and brought up absolutely nothing relevant. Only thing he said about my ex was why she was wearing long sleeves to cover up her tattoos. He looked like a total idiot in the courtroom. I lost everything and when I fired him, I got sent another bill for $2500. $10,000 down the drain.”

“Chip did a great job with my divorce many years ago. We fought through arbitration and child support all of which worked out better for me than many of the horror stories I hear about from other men.”

“Definitely would not recommend chip pelley to anyone. I paid $1500 down for a divorce he told me it would be started. It was partly done when things started working out between myself and my ex wife. His secretary told me to keep them in the loop. A month later a received an email for chip pelley telling my I needed to come up with $4500 in 5 days or he was dropping my case. Needless to say I had no choice but to not pay it cause there's no way I had that kind of money to throw around. I will tell everyone I can to not go to him!!!”

His staff are extremely seasoned, have been thorough in their casework and have exercised so much empathy with me through arguably the most difficult season of mine and my kids' lives.
