This place is super unprofessional, I was issued a ticket, the beginning of 2020, went to court for it, plead not guilty, they lost the record, found it almost 5 years later, told me to come back to court, which I did, got to court, told me that the officer had quit 3 years prior to the court date, then told me that they still wanted to move forward with the trial, with no other witness other than myself, for a speeding ticket and no eye glasses, I told them this was supposed to be the trial, because I've been here before to plead, they said that wasn't their problem, which is unlawful, this small town is crooked and corrupted, they are breaking the law and trying to uphold the law at the same time, I wasn't able to make the next court date, got a continuance, I've been trying to get a new court date, and they keep giving me the run around, playing with my livelihood, I'm a OTR trucker, this is beyond disgusting and disrespectful.

Mixed feelings about this place. The bad: Palmer is known for being a place where the cops pull you over and err on the side of error. We were absolutely NOT speeding (I have no reason to say that here if it wasn't true) and fighting that ticket was a total nightmare and we almost lost. The good I guess is the county had a sparkling new courthouse and they obviously do a TON of business because they have their system down. I guess more bad is that if you go to take care of a ticket here, be prepared to wait a very long time. It's not like some slow place such as Houston or Dallas, lol. It's PACKED with people with court dates for their tickets. Everyone was in shock about just how many people needed to be processed. It was... Crazy. So unless you want to see this place from the inside, go 10 MPH under the speed limit I guess. (But then maybe you'll get a ticket for going too slow so who knows.)

I got a speeding ticket in Palmer, and the court administrator (Amy) was very helpful, she walked me through on different options on how to take care of my ticket (1st speeding ticket so I didn't know what was the best way to go). She was very patient and helpful. Thank you Amy keep up the good work.

One star is one too many! Appalling! Insufficient! Shady! I paid my citation many years ago and it was a speed trap, without a doubt. I paid no contest and when my license came up for renewal I was informed I had an outstanding ticket? Baffled? Palmer county added exorbitant fees with another citation number and made no mention when I settled with them over the phone 6 years ago. Now, I'm forced to pay fees in order to receive my renewed license? I have made numerous phone calls and sent letters to schedule a zoom court date but, the office administrators are uncooperative. The Palmer County clerk should be investigated. Something crooked going on there.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I live over an hour a way, and knew I wouldn't make it to court. I tried to get set up on a payment plan for a ticket. Was told I could, and that I would be getting some paperwork in the mail. Note: I called withing 10 days of getting a ticket. They were supposed to send me some paperwork. I never got it. Tried calling several more times, never answered. I finally get a hold of them, and they tell me that my ticket amount has almost tripled. When I asked why, they said that since I didn't tell them within 5 days that I would not be at court, they add an additional fee that was 100$ more than the ticket itself. They would not budge on it, and unfortunately I lost the citation so I had no proof that it was wrong. So... almost 700$ later, PAID (Money came out of my account), this ticket is still holding me back from renewing my driver license and is still marked as unpaid on the Palmer side. Then to top it off, during a phone call, they have the audacity to say that... "they made most of their money from traffic tickets on the highway". It's literally highway robbery. I will never drive through Palmer again if I can help it. I would go hours out of my way before I do.

I dealt with this court over the phone and in person & every interaction I had, I thought the employees were very kind. The judge in my case was very reasonable. For court appearances, I will say: make sure you arrive early. My start time was 8:30am but I wasn't seen until closer to 10am because you're seen in order of arrival (first come first serve)... but they're very efficient.

I wish I could give zero stars. Their mailing address doesn't work. Twice, I've sent in the proper documents to request a driver safety course, and twice, my letters have been delayed in transit. I have certified mail tracking on both, and even had my local post office confirm a mailable address for me because the address provided on my mailing and the website didn't turn up anything in the USPS's address database. All this precinct is interested in is getting the most out of their targets and harassing people that were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Any options to get a lesser penalty are there for show, and they don't go through.

The most unprofessional public service office and group of clerks I have EVER come across. No courthouse should have a 1 star review from its constituents. After reading some of the other reviews, it is obvious that this courthouse has a problem with lying about sending information. I don't typically write reviews, but this place deserves all the 1-star reviews its gotten
