“Chris Martin was my ex-husband's lawyer in our divorce in 2023. To this day, he still has not filed our final divorce decree. He does not answer his phone or return calls. I finally caught him in the office and he advised me that he would send my final decree the week after, but never did. It has been almost 2 years and still, no final decree. I know numerous people he has done this to. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!”

“Tells you what he thinks you want to hear. Says he working on it. No results. Does not tell you the truth. Says he will call with an update and Never does . Doesn't answer you. Do not hire this guy! Paid for service and nothing. Texas Bar Association here I come with proof!”

“These 5 star reviews can't be real. He doesn't return clients' calls. Doesn't call back when he says he will. Doesn't have voicemail. Seems to always be in court or sick as a reason why he can't talk or text or return calls. Does not follow through with what he said he will. Does nothing when the other attorney is dropping the ball.”

“Chris hardly ever returns his calls just like texting most of the time he text you with a reason that he can't get with you I've been waiting on him since February of 25 to just get my paperwork out of him and here it is starting a new year still no answer if I had know back when my sister and I hired him he was gonna be lame on everything he has done i wouldn't have used him looks like I'm going to have to hire another lawyer just to get my paperwork out of him”

“Hired him to fight a traffic ticket. I paid his fee. He called the courthouse to put himself as my representation and never did anything past that. I know this because the courthouse pulled records and told me so. I now have a failure to appear, cannot renew my license and have increased late fees for the ticket all because he failed to do what he was hired to do. Trying to get ahold of him is an absolute joke. He does not return calls, emails, or texts. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN! He is completely incompetent.”

“The case is still not completed, but I've become very nervous. My husband has been in jail for over two months and I have only been able to get in contact with Mr Martin twice. Both times he gave me a time frame of when he would contact me. He did not stay near within the timeline and I've had to leave many messages to finally get a call back. I understand he is surely a busy man, but this is someone's life we are discussing. Not only my husband's life but mine, and my 3 kids'. This has had a huge impact on us and I just want to know what's going on. If it changes I'll be sure to come back and amend this review, but until then this is how I feel.”
