“When I had first reached out to Erin, I was shocked and shattered by the news that my husband wanted a divorce and, that I was being wholly blamed by him for his desire to dissolve our marriage. He had me nearly convinced that everything was my fault and that it would be better for me to sign over the house and walk away with my tail tucked. When I told Erin this she said, "Look, even if you don't hire me, do not sign those papers. You deserve more." I hired her. As much as I did not want to go to trial and feared having all the skeletons in my closet exposed to whoever was in the courtroom, Erin encouraged me not to settle for a lowball offer at mediation. We prepared for court and court lasted almost an entire, standard working day. Not only was Erin punctual, present and patient, she was respectful, matter of fact and knew exactly what questions to ask.
