“I have spoken to the Judge Dale Spurgin who is the Jones County judge about the issues with the Stamford, TX Mayor James Decker in his juridisction county and have had no traction whatsoever. It seems he says that he is the County Judge but he cannot do anything whatsoever. Though if you look at the DA of Texas, Ken Paxton he says that we could reach out to these officials for legal advice. 1. As a new resident the Mayor James Decker has been misusing the "Organic" platforms he says he has no control off to remove citizens who are not in sync with his criminal agendas. 2. Mayor James Decker has not been accountable for funding appropriated by the City of Stamford via grants that are upwards of millions of dollars. 3. Mayor James Decker has been using his position and powers to appoint family members like his Sister Jessica Decker and his others in key positions. When I attended the last City Council Meeting held on December 4, 2020 the Mayor decided to give $15,000 (incurred due to faulty work by Vendor) who had been awarded a multi million dollar contract via a grant from the Fed Government. This same Mayor does not have anything substantial to show via a report, plan or accountability to the way funds have been spent with proof of how it was spent. This Jones County District Attorney thinks this is a joke and is not his problem.”
