1.0“When first meeting with Mr Malone he was adamant that we would go to court if the HOA board did not stop harassing my granddaughter and her friend who live in my condo in Window Box condominiums. He assured me that they were definitely in the wrong. He sent the HOA a letter as they were threatening to have my granddaughter's roommate car towed. After he received a response-letter from the firm representing the HOA, he promptly stated I needed to stop harassing"arguing " with the HOA and I would not win so he was off the case and wouldn't take it to court. Not only did he backtrack on everything he told me during our meeting, but I'm sure the HOA offered him a payout to make sure he now has a conflict of interest. I would say he talks a good game but in no way did he follow through with what he said he would do. Certainly would NEVER recommend someone such as he, lacking in ethics! Be very careful - wolf in sheep's clothing!”
1.0“We reached out for help regarding real estate issues and sent in a few documents before speaking to Mr Malone. We had a short conversation regarding our case and Mr Malone stated he could write us a letter to help and could give us some contacts closer to us that might be able to help but that was the end of our conversation. We reached out a few times after that and never received a response. Now 30 days have passed and we received an invoice for $240 for a call and reviewing documents but we were never told of fees or rates during any point and everything was just a consultation. We assumed no fees being told up front before our phone call meant the consultation did not include fees however when we reached out to Mr Malone and stated we were surprised to receive a bill when we were never notified of his rates or fees for consultations, his response was "when you go to your doctor or dentist's do you expect his or her services to be free? Are you "surprised" when you are asked to pay a consultation?" The professional who doesn't inform his potential clients of what to expect from fees and charges is how he responds when asked about not informing clients of fees. Even when Texas bar has the TEXAS DISCIPLINARY RULES OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT (Effective October 1, 2024) section 1.04 (c) even states fees or basis should be communicated to the client preferably in writing before or within a reasonable time after commencing the representation”
1.0“I am in the verge of making a formal complaint with the Texas bar about this attorney. I want to give the proper time to see the outcome of this because we will have to pursue this in the media if need be. From what we experienced he was to represent us in our father's case upon his death but he did everything to try and get a different attorney to beat us at everything. I will keep you updated and I will let you know in the form of social media and the news media.”
