“Be discerning when hiring an attorney. I was optimistic about how he said he would represent me. He is a nice man, but he is going to maintain his professional relationships over his clients. Dont waste your money”

“This man destroyed my relationship with my daughter. I was physically assaulted by my son and Mr. Cain was my son's appointed attorney. I called the police because my son beat me in my home and dislocated my jaw. I suffered facial bruising and various other injuries. This is not my son's first time assaulting someone. My son has quite the rap sheet and I refused to allow him to get away with it. Mr. Cain asked me to go to the prosecutors office and sign a form for non prosecution. Meaning my son would get probation. I did as they asked and I was told the court may or may not take my wishes into consideration. Towards the end of the case Mr. Cain spoke with my daughter and told her complete lies. I was not pushing for my son to do 20 years. I discussed all the options available to try and figure out the best outcome. Somehow Jake Cain completely twisted the facts about what outcome would be best. Based on what this evil man said about me to my daughter I cannot see my grandchildren. Even though my son is walking around free after assaulting me I am being treated like the criminal. My daughter and her husband put up the bond for my son. They know what he did to me and I guess they are ok with me being assaulted. My brother told me whatever Jake Cain said to my daughter turned her against me. Numerous family members have said the same thing. Jake Cain got my son probation for beating his own mother. Jake Cain destroyed my family with lies. He got what he wanted he put another violent offender back on the streets. My son's first victims were when he was about 13 years old. A nine year old boy and a 6 year old. What kind of a man bargains for a criminal with a history like that? What kind of people put up bond for a criminal who assaulted a parent? I have been provided no copies of what the prosecution settled on for my son beating me. It takes an evil person to get a predator off on probation. Completely ignoring all the lies he spewed to my daughter. I am the victim but I was treated like the criminal. Jake Cain needs to clean up his lies and all the trouble he has caused. I have been victimized twice once by my son and by Jake Cain. .”
