Please, if you're are a soldier you will need a lot of patience here. Unfortunately civilians have a really bad actitud and nothing but not disposition to work. They keep telling me to used the web to get an appointment but don't actually schedule anything from there. They say "Used the correct process to make an appointment, if you don't hear from us in a WEEK, you can call or them come to the office and see when you appointment can take place". Why they can use the right process to work? I have to pay an outside lawyer to get help when I have the service right here but push to don't receive it. It's frustrating reading so many complaints about the same issue and they still have the same personal and "PROCESS".

I went in for a legal review of SB documents and was told, this office does not do legal reviews for SB and I was referred to the 1AD Staff Judge Advocate for assistance by Mr. DAN JORDAN. I informed Mr. Jordan, my unit was deployed and my organization is a tenant unit on Fort Bliss and he insisted I reach out to Fort Hood for assistance. I inquired as to why I could not receive assistance here on Fort Bliss; Mr. Jordan went on to say it was going to be a problem if Soldiers keep coming here for legal reviews, but stated I was the first one to come in the office for a SB Legal Review. Mr. Jordan's attitude was very unprofessional, stern, and confrontational when engaging with me (in front of junior Soldiers), a Service Member seeking legal assistance services. Mr. Jordan kept asking who sent me to the Ft. Bliss Legal office and he qas going to reach out to them and educate them. His attitude was terrible and someone needs to look into the operation at this department. There was no good morning or how can I help you, just a defensive posture ready to turn me away. As the Chief of Legal Client Advocate, It was disappointing engagung with Mr. Jordan unprofessionalism behavior and his unwillingness to assist. Inaddition, the fri t desk clerk infirms me it will take two weeks befor someone reaches out just to get an appt schedule. The Ft Bliss legal office need to sraff green suitors, who will try to assist with resolvi g SM's issues more efficiently.Mr. Jordan's attitudes and engagement is a complete deterrent. This service is for Service Members and if he does not have a heart to serve Service Members on a military installation, then he should reconsider his position. This is the worst service I have received from a legal office in 30 years.

Surprisingly unprofessional on the civilian side. Just wanted to make an appointment after seeing the wait time. Did not expect the clerk to ask me the nature of my visit in front of everyone else sitting in the lobby. Maybe it is just me, but that is not a question to be asked in front of other people.

They say they will call in 7-10 days for scheduling an appointment to talk with an attorney. I didn't receive a call for over two weeks. They say, "We'll call you next week sometime. Today, Wednesday, I made a call multiple times to check in with them. They didn't answer the phone. I went to that office to check on my appointment. They said they called me 30 minutes ago but I didn't receive it, so they left a voice message. I checked my phone in front of them. No missed call, no voice message. They say I will have to wait another 5 days to get a call with an assumption(if I miss thr call again, I will have to wait another few days). I don't know if they really exist to help soldiers for legal issues. I wasted three weeks, hoping to schedule an appointment. Now I am about to miss the right timing for my case. If I could give a zero star, I would definitely do that.

When calling in you are provided with 2 options one during regular business hours we can schedule an appointment with a person, second is email, well it's 11:39am the office closes for lunch at 11:45.... But no one is picking up the phone which is odd if lunch isn't till 11:45. So now they are doing call avoidance. That's messed up I thought they were here to assist us in our legal matters or questions.

I've been calling for over a month without anyone picking up the phone. Yes I've emailed and included my DOD and all the info they asked for from the website and still over a month without any reply. Shame and ever sad since I really need help!!
