“I would like to rebuttal the "never returns calls review". Trey Dunne is not avoiding calls, he is just not going to spend his valuable time reassuring you that it will all be ok. If he was doing that, he would not be doing his job as your acting advocate and helping you to win your case. I have so much respect for Trey and am eternally grateful to him for the council he has given me. He never was dismissive, he always made sure to clearly explain everything and would make sure to help you understand. The jails record phone calls so he prefers to only speak if absolutely necessary on the phone because he wants to win your case. Juarez, I believe his wife, is lovely and I have seen their kids at the office and they are polite. I say this because I think it speaks to their character, that he is indeed a genuinely good person. I don't know if Frank is still there, but he was very professional, friendly and when we ran into each other later on he remembered my name. That is QUALITY service. Trey Dunne is worth hiring.”

“WOW. He was court appointed, but did way more than the attorneys at Deandra Grant Law did. And I paid them over 4k. Trey treated me with far more respect and I got a much better outcome than my previous court appointed or hired lawyers even suggested possible . I am so very grateful and impressed. I was looking at probation, breathalyzer in my car, and jail time with a record that would have followed me forever. I got none of that. Just paid my court fees and washed my hands if it all. “My wife had the misfortune of drawing this guy from a hat as a public defender in Caldwell Tx. He spent a maximum of 15 minutes with her talked to the D. A. and returned with scary stories of what would happen if we didn't sign right now. He stuck us paying more to probation than a middle of the road attorney fee and completely misrepresented the conditions of deferred adjudication. We have also tried calling him for weeks with zero return on calls or messages. If his performance as a public defender is any indication of his professionalism and knowledge of criminal law you're better off with a law book and a legal dictionary. If reading isn't your thing a free one hour consultation with any other criminal law attorney may also be more helpful. It was for us but unfortunately it was too late to do anything other than finally understand paperwork he talked us into signing. P. S. Had to give him one star because they wouldn't let me put 0. I'm thirty five and this is the first time I've felt inclined to rate anything online good or bad.”
