Much like many of the other reviews, my experience started with a clear speed trap. The sudden change from the 75 mph limit to 55 mph, immediately followed by an officer waiting behind the sign, felt predatory, though I concede to the citation itself. The amount of the ticket was already egregious. However, the real issue is the Municipal Court's non-existent service. I elected for defensive driving and promptly followed all instructions on the website, including sending a money order for the fee. I have been calling the court since November 11th--sometimes up to four times a day--to confirm receipt of my payment and to ensure my account was properly handled. I have never received an answer or had a call returned. Today, I finally sent in my proof of completion for defensive driving, despite having received zero communication or confirmation from the court over the last 42 days. It is deeply concerning that a municipal court operates without a functional phone line or basic communication. This lack of accountability and simple customer service is unacceptable. I now have to hope I don't receive a warrant simply because the Corrigan Municipal Court cannot perform its basic administrative duties. I will be actively avoiding driving through this city in the future. Wish me luck--I shouldn't need it just to pay a traffic ticket correctly.

SPEED TRAP!! BE VERY CAREFUL!!!! I was going 75 and almost immediately the speed dropped down to a nice slow 55, as soon as I saw that I hit my breaks but of course a officer was camping the speed sign that hits 55, I get pulled over and thank god he was nice, it was my first ever ticket and he could clearly see I was shaken up. Called the court and absolutely no help. I had no idea what to do, not to mention how ridiculous it was. 295$??? I called and kept asking for help and no one was willing to help??? I paid my ticket I did the defensive driving course and yet no one can tell me what to do next.

I began calling at 8am, nobody answered my call until 2:15. Once the call finally went through I was greeted by arguably the worst and most unprofessional worker I've ever came across acting as if my call was a massive inconvenience. The worker began to only have a 1:30 conversation with me only stating "all the information can be found on your ticket" after telling her the information I was asking about wasn't on the ticket I was then hung up on. For a city that quite literally has nothing going on, the "civil servants" sure do act as if there is a lot going on.

Be careful when passing through there, it's a trap town, it's the worst town there is, rude police, they only want money there, they gave me a ticket because my car only had one license plate, my car is new, it fell by accident, and they gave me a very expensive ticket. A friend was stopped for going 26, the speed limit there was 25, one point higher, and she was given a ticket for $250.

I came for court at 1pm. No one was here so I left. I am posting this in the event that a warranty is issued for failure to appear there is proof that i was here and the court officials were not. UPDATE: I went to the wrong courthouse. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DOCUMENTS WHEN REPORTING TO COURT. There are no notices on the door that there is another location. There is no one who will answer the phone (936) and help you find out where you should go. If you snooze you lose big time in this town...no exceptions.

I got a ticket in December 2023, as it is my first and only ticket I was waiting to receive my court date. After nearly a year, I called the court and the receptionist mailed my ticket to the wrong address. She then tried to blame it on the ticket but I told her I was looking at the ticket as we were speaking and it is correct on the ticket. I have a warrant now because they mailed my court date to the wrong address! I am writing this incase anything happens. The receptionist said she would mail it to the correct address but never apologized for her mistake. She also did not clear my record based on her mistake.

Got a ticket in this town so called the municipal court to see my options. I called 2 times within an hour and I got not answer. I tried back a 3rd time, an hour later and I was told I didn't need to call 20 times because she was busy helping other people! So she clearly seen my number and chose not to answer. I live 2 1/2 hours away so I just wanted to make sure I mailing everything in correctly. She told me to read my ticket because it was self explanatory. I asked if I could provide my ticket number so she could help assure me that I was mailing in everything needed to take defensive driving. She said no she was not gonna read my ticket for me because everything I needed to know was on my ticket. I asked to speak to someone else because she clearly didn't want to help me and she said no I couldn't and I needed to read my ticket and follow directions. The officer was also very rude! Reading all the reviews show me that this is the norm for this town.
