5.0“I have had Traffic citations in San Antonio and court can be chaotic and a bit nerve-wracking, but the court staff here really made it a good experience overall. They were professional, helpful, and kept things moving as smoothly as possible despite how busy it gets. I'd recommend checking in early--around 10:30 a.m. worked well for me and helped me get seen sooner. Overall even though no one wants to be there it was actually a good experience.”
1.0“The most inconvenient unorganized process I've been through. Do your absolute best to not get ticket in Converse. Had to reschedule my first appearance because the judge was running 40min late. They say you will be called in the order you check in which is BS. I checked in at 11:30 and I was last to get called, even after I went up to say something because people that I checked in way before were getting called up before me. I didn't get done till 5pm. Can't emphasize enough on how unorganized and mismanaged this court is.”
1.0“They made me go in to turn my defensive driving certificate in, and when I got there she said I should've just sent an email didn't take my paper and walked away to talk to her coworkers?”
1.0“Got a ticket today speeding close to the converse police station was driving the same speed as the converse parks and recreation truck owned by the citizens of converse but I get pulled over I informed the officer I was going the same speed as the city truck officers responded well I can't pull over two people at once of course not but shouldn't an employee driving a tax payer owned vehicle be held to a higher accountability I haven't had a ticket in over 23 years not denying my responsibility at all but city employees shouldn't be allowed to speed in are vehicles”
1.0“I got a ticket. I wanted to do defensive driving. The citation ticket explicitly states in fine print that if you want to do defensive driving (DD) or deferred adjudication, to go to the website. So I go to the website and those are not available options. I call the court and even the phone tree says to go to the website for DD or deferred adjudication. I talk to the clerk and she says 'oh no you need to come down to the court if you want those options.' Apparently there is extra paperwork to fill out. The same day, I drive to the court to get this all sorted. I couldn't remember if I had done DD in the past 12 months. So I go home to print my TX driver's record from the state website ($12). The same day I go back to the court to bring all the needed documents and they say their server is down and they can't process anything. I called every hour after this to see if their server came up. I have wasted my whole day off trying to clear this up. All of this could literally be online as advertised. Not sure why the city makes it so difficult.”
1.0“I have never been to a court where the judge takes multiple breaks. On top of that he is very disrespectful towards people that are having trouble understanding something or that may be disabled. Disgusting and shameful behavior from judge Dickson that I witnessed personally.”
5.0“Needed help with some things, and the Court Clerk answered all my questions kindly. Very understanding and had a great attitude. She was very willing to help which I was grateful for. Could not be more thankful for her help and knowledge!”
4.0“The officers, staff, and judge were helpful, kind, and thorough. Really couldnt have had a better court experience. The only thing i saw they could change is that the judge only comes in once a month. As far as dealing with people, they were exceptional.”
