“They can help with a lot of services and referrals. Word of advice, expect to spend a while. While I have a 3 visit policy before reviews, I have only visited twice in this one. Both times have been extensive in time but they are willing to help. They will be short with you at first until you get to talk to someone.”

“Never had an opportunity to hire a lawyer, but this local professional organization is truly first rate in helping average consumers with straight-forward guidance! This experience was delightful from the very first person who answered the telephone to the department who assisted me in quickly answering my personal question. The lawyer referral service is top notch -- this department does not just shove somebody off to a lawyer is happened to sign up to be on a list. The lawyers are well-researched, licensed and are required to have insurance. I would normally expect a lawyer organization to my somewhat snooty in treatment of average lay persons, but the Columbus Bar Association truly is a benefit to the community and the citizens it serves. I would definitely recommend anybody who needs simple direction (not legal advice) to what kind of lawyer may be appropriate for handing the matter. The receptionist even invited me to visit the office at 175 South Third Street, if I was in the neighborhood -- wow! Thank you again and keep up the legal outstanding work in the City of Columbus!”
