1.0“PSA! If you ever have a court hearing at 1pm, DONT show up early! They won't let you in until 5 minutes before 1pm, because they won't disclose to you ahead of time that they have lunch during that time. Very inconvenient in the heat with a car with little gas and NO A/C.”
5.0“I got pulled over on my way to work because a quote: "Obstruction on my license plate" In reality it was a very legal 50% tented anti-theft see-through dome cover, that obstructed none of my information that I've been driving with for over a year. He also got me for "No physical driver's license" when though I had a photo. Ms.Stroup was very helpful and patient helping me dismiss my citations. Thank you! It wouldve been $240 dollars instead it got dismissed for $20.”
1.0“265 for an expired registration... They said they would drop the price after getting new registration done, so it would just be court fees... that was not the case. Now I feel lied to and don't have as much pride of where I live. Felt like a money grab.”
1.0“Awful police system. Got pulled over over a newly expired registration sticker less than two weeks expired. Got a citation and was told to go get a sticker at the Galveston tax office by officer. And bring it to the court house to get it extinguished. Went to said tax office and waited for an hour to be told I can't get my sticker there. Had to go to Houston to get one. Then brought it to the court house and was told I have to go back to the tax office and pay a 20$ late fee or pay the whole 130$ to get rid of it. Was told false information and left out info. Wasted my gas and a whole day of waiting in line at the tax office.”
1.0“3 years ago cop pulled me over for going 5 over the speed limit. When I went to pay the fine the staff was so rude demanding this and that, when I asked about there attitude, the sheriff walked out and threatened to arrest me probably one of the saddest excuses for law enforcement I have witnessed. Everyone ik who has ran into them had practically the same story. They threw my buddy in jail over a gram of weed :/”
1.0“Literally the rudest people who seem like they enjoy making peoples lives harder including the cops. They just want your money and give citations for everything even when minding your own business putting nobody in danger no speeding no running red lights no swerving nothing to endanger anybody they will still harass you and give you a ticket for the dumbest thing cause they want your money. But when there is an actual emergency and someone needs help they won't be there that quick!”
1.0“Growing up in the league city kemah area my entire life never would have I ever thought I would spend a day in jail and especially over window tint the way this cop violated my rights is scary and I dont feel comfortable living here after my experience the police officer did not like that I was well within my right to refuse roll down my windows and proceeded to reach into my car to forcibly pull me out of my car I see countless people drive up and down all around the state of texas with "illegal" window tint but the local governments dont care about your safety and your privacy all they care about is them selves if Im wrong for too dark of window tint I'm wrong but I did not deserve to be forcibly pulled out of my car and booked into jail I hope the community is a safer place after me being arrested for window tint and exercising my rights”
1.0“Leaving a review is worthless. They need to be reported to a enforcement agency that will actually do something. The ladies in the municipal court ladies are so rude and disrespectful it's unreal. I guess mail does not get lost or run behind. I just want to Pay my fine and move along.”
