“Got caught in a speed trap and they refuse to answer the phone DURING office hours. I'm j tryna call and make sure my mail went through but no response”

“This town, like many other similar ones on the verge of extinction, is relying on legally stealing your money with the way they set up their speed signs dropping 20mph in a metter of several yards, which is extremely unusual to slow so quick unless you almost slam your brakes. If you truly cared about the safety of passer-bys and drivers, were not an immoral city and your cops were not perpetrators of such immorality, you would set those speed signs at least several hundred yards from each other and give drivers the space they are adjusted anywhere else. Shame on your leadership!”

“This town is just an ATM for the department, I passed through this town once and I got three violations. Speeding failed to signal lane change failed to signal turn And the best part is no one in the court or police department knows the difference between these violation "failed to signal lane change" "failed to signal turn" and just asked me to pay $900 or reach out to an Attorney. And the police officer who gave me this blue slip did not explained about any of the violations in the ticket and just gave a blue slip and asked me to reach out to court. I would like to rate 0 if i can and will never pass through this city Calvert again. Avoid this ATM center if you can.”

“I have passed through this town several times and it always stops me for the stupidest reasons. Example: the last time, they gave me a ticket because "I didn't put my lights on to cross 100 feet before crossing". First, how do you know what to do to measure those remaining 100 feet? Second, the policeman named (THOMAS) who stopped me that time was very arrogant with everything he said and every question I asked him he answered me with an arrogant wave. I ask him how he measured the 100 feet and he told me in an arrogant way that I had two feet that I could measure if he wanted. It should be noted that in the manual of his violations, there is not even the alleged violation that they put me in the tickets. He obviously stopped me for no reason that was reasonable. They only do this type of thing to take money from the people who pass through this town and they do it like this because they know that the people who pass through that town are not going to return to fight those tickets and they are only going to pay for them and that is the their way of making money.”

“Out of nowhere, I recieve a notice from an attorney saying I owe y'all $169, no explanation or anything! I recieved this notice on the May 15th and the payment was due on the May 10th. Make it make sense. Researching your county it made sense.”

“I paid this ticket in FULL and just received a letter that I didn't pay it and could have a warrant out for my arrest. This is a crooked money grab town for sure”

“The lack of responsiveness over the phone is very concerning during their regular business hours. This is a speed trap town. Beware when driving through it.”

“Unbelievable, I paid our "speeding" ticket but they didn't bother to notify TX DPS! Now it's a mess and they refuse to answer the phone. What kind of government office is this?”
