Criminal Defense & Constitutional Advocacy

Defending Constitutional Rights in Texas Municipal, County & District Courts

Facing criminal charges in Texas places an individual's freedom, reputation, employment, and constitutional liberties under direct threat from the formidable resources of state or federal prosecutors. Under the Texas Penal Code and the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, criminal allegations range from Class C misdemeanors through first-degree and capital felonies that carry severe mandatory prison sentences and life-altering collateral consequences.

Effective criminal defense requires immediate intervention and proactive constitutional scrutiny. Seasoned Texas criminal defense attorneys examine every phase of the state's case: evaluating whether law enforcement had reasonable suspicion for initial traffic stops, probable cause for warrantless searches or arrests, adherence to Miranda warnings, chain of custody for physical evidence, and compliance with statutory blood and breath testing protocols. Early defense representation allows counsel to engage prosecutors before grand jury indictments, negotiate bond reductions at magistrate hearings, file motions to suppress illegally obtained evidence, and present robust defenses before Texas juries.

Representation for shoplifting, grand theft, credit card abuse, fraud, embezzlement, forgery, and identity theft allegations in Texas district courts.

“I'd be happy if I didn't pay 15000 for them to go 6 months for me, my case get dismissed, and I knew before they did that the case was getting dismissed... I guess two phone calls a week is constitutes a15000 fee... Then They tell me that in 3 years after statute of limitations runs up I could pay them more to get it expunged... Pretty sure that should be involved in the 15000 I already spent for them to do almost nothing...”

Response from Office:

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our firm's goal in every case is to resolve our clients' legal problems as quickly and effectively as possible while protecting them from the stress, risk, and expense of prolonged litigation.nnIn your matter, the criminal cases were successfully dismissed, which is always the primary objective in any criminal defense representation. In many situations, our proactive approach--engaging early with the prosecution and identifying weaknesses in the case--results in matters being resolved without the need for extended court proceedings or trial. While that process may appear simple from the outside, achieving a dismissal often reflects significant legal work, strategic advocacy, and the benefit of a firm with a strong reputation among prosecutors.nnWe also want to clarify that our records reflect that we assisted you with the expunction process at no additional charge, which is something we are often happy to do for clients whose cases are dismissed in a similar fashion. nnThat said, we are sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with your experience. Client satisfaction is important to us, and if you would like to discuss your concerns further, we welcome you to contact our office directly so we can address them with you.
